George Nelson’s Comprehensive Storage System is definitely on top of my wish list. It was designed for Herman Miller around the 50′s. The storage system features a small desk, lots of storage, and even a fluorescent light under a shelf.
The picture on the top is the owner of 2×4‘s amazing room from the magazine.
I found one on ebay today, in general it is way too expensive.

Lisa Larson is another famous Swedish artist who has been creating collectible pottery works in Gustavberg, Sweden since the 50′s. My favorite pieces from her are definitely these cats that come in several series. The tabby cats are designed for the early Lila Zoo collection in 1955.
Her animals have charming characters with unique faces. I like the stylized hand done style of the sculptures.
This is one of her recent works and the one I bought a few months ago.
