I might be a little late on this but Modernica is having a contest where you have to submit a photo of your pet on your furniture. This sounds like a great idea, I’ll definitely give it a try. Found a brilliant website that showcase the works of Matthew Lyons. I love the color palette and the way he plays with textures and composition with the Mid-Century aesthetic. The scary thing is that he is still only 21 and is at his final year of school.

Enzo Mari is one of the most influential and versatile Italian visual artist. He created not only toys for children, but also graphic design and architecture. I love his playfulness and simplicity of his works. The posters above are ‘Quattro, la pantera‘ and ‘La Mela e La Pera‘.
His timer desk calendar and formosa wall calendar were designed in 1967. They have became one of the classic icons of 20th century design. I’d love to have them, they’d be great accessories on the office table.
