Eames Aluminum Chair
You might’ve noticed the latest item on my wishlist but the Eames Aluminum chair is something I’ve been wanting for a long time. My color preference is definitely green. It may not be as comfortable as the Aeron chairs for work, but I’m a sucker for great design.

Uten.silo: Storage System
Utensilo is one of the best-known plastic products that was designed by Dorothee Maurer-Becker in 1969. It is very iconic, functional, and looks great on the bare wall in my working space. It’s finally time to say goodbye to my untidy desk!
‘At the end of the 1960s plastic was on its way to becoming one of the dominant design materials. In Italy, designers such as Joe Colombo and Vico Magistretti designed bright and cheerful furniture, luminaires and consumer goods for innovative manufacturers such as Artemide and Kartell. With the Bofinger Chair and the Panton Chair, the first seats made entirely of plastic appeared. At the same time in Munich Ingo Maurer, who had already attracted attention with his “Bulb” luminaire, launched a plastic wall tidy which created quite a stir ñ uten.silo.’ (source,)

Saito Wood: Plywood home products

Saito wood is one of my favorite Japanese home product company. They have been exporting high quality wooden products that uses plywood molding techniques to the US and Europe since the 1950′s.
They don’t have a wide range of product lines but I love the idea that they focus on simple home items such as waste baskets, wine coolers, and tissue paper boxes. I’ve been using their walnut waste basket, coasters, and a few trays in different sizes. I never get tired of their product because the simplistic design last a long time for me. If you live in Los Angeles area, you can get some of their products at tortoise in Venice or visit at emmohome.

Herman Miller: Interior Views
On top of giving us the opportunity to own the George Nelson steel frame sofa, Le Boeuf generously gave us this gift. Since the book contain many pictures of the sofa, they thought it would be great for our reference.
The book contains a great overview of the history of Herman Miller featuring classic furniture designers, Eames, George Nelson, Isamu Noguchi and Paul Laszlo. (they are mostly black and white pictures, but it still looks ageless and stunning.)
The black and white picture on the bottom is the same George Nelson steel frame sofa we got. Again, thank you Le Boeuf!
The books is also available at Amazon.
