Blenko Glass Company
These Blenko bottles are some of the most beautiful glass wares I’ve seen. I especially love the silhouettes. Each bottle has a unique design that is full of character. I’m afraid I can’t just buy one. The first picture was illustrated by none other than Charley Harper.

Arne jacobsen: Cylinda-Line
The Selton coffee pot is a part of the Cylinda-Line that was designed by legendary designer Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971). His classical modern chairs are most popular, (Ant) but this architectural product lines appears more attractive to me.
Here are more beautiful products: Salt & Pepper set, Salad bowl, Ice tongs, and Tea pot.
These 100 Bar series are so shiny, I will be scared to leave my finger prints. They are absolutely museum pieces.

Arabia Finel Mushroom mixing bowl

This enamelware mixing bowl was designed by Finnish designers Kaj Franck and Esteri Tomula during the 60′s. It is made by the famous Finland company, Arabia, Finel. I’m mostly attracted to the cute mushroom pattern and the simplicity of the bowl which feels very timeless. The outer rim of this bowl has a few tiny paint nicks showing its age. Nevertheless it’s still very presentable, I use it as a fruit basket.

Weekend post: Fire King & Pear Compote
It’s pear season so I made pear compote with vanilla ice cream for dessert. The dishware you see are jade Fire Kings that I’ve been collecting.
I cooked these pears in red wine with my small red Le creuset pot. It’s the perfect Autumn treat.
