Coast Modern is a film that explores the history of modern architecture from LA to Vancouver. It covers back to as far as 1922 until today about modernist homes on the west coast. The film has many interesting interviews with famous architects as well as photographers, and famous people. Shot in HD, this is definitely something I want to check out.

Bertram Charles Binning

This house was designed in 1941 by B.C Binning. It is located in Vancouver and plays a major role in the city’s as well as the west coast’s early modernist development. Aside from the building itself, the murals are definitely inspiring.
