Boomerang Floor Lamp

Found this Danish styled floor lamp that seems to be inspired by Carl Aubock. Definitely a must if you ask me. Too bad it’s sold out, I might have to do some research. It’s actually a lamp and table combo.

Pasadena Post and Beam

Now this is something worth drooling over. Built in 1953 by Leland Christian, this house has it all, from the wonderful view to the beautiful fireplace. Located in Pasadena, It is reasonably priced for $699,000. With a home like this, I wouldn’t mind the commute.

The Floating Bungalow in Venice

I love the mix between western and eastern influence of this house. Every inch of it is strategically built allowing storage space. The boxy design of the house and how the backyard relates to it is very well executed. These pictures are giving me too many ideas. I might have to make another trip to San Diego.

Sacramento Mid-Century Modern Home Tour

Here’s a quick info. For the first time ever, Sacramento will have a mid-century modern home tour on June 26th.

The tickets are still available on their official blog through paypal. Those houses look absolutely gorgeous, I’d love to take a look inside. Too bad I live a little too far.

Vintage Terrarium

We continue today with another planter post. This is a vintage space age looking terrarium that could be either planter or a display of small collectibles. As you can see in my previous post, along with planters I also love to collect globes. This item is the prefect hybrid of a planter and a globe if I ever run out of room.

The reproductions are available here!
