A really neat graphic design blog Graphic exchange posted amazing office pictures called ‘where we design’. They showcase how classic mid century furniture can work in office spaces.

These are very beautiful working areas that include amazing architecture with breath-taking scenic views. Ad agencies really know how to deck out their studio.

I just received the latest CB2 catalog a few days ago. As soon as I flipped the pages, I noticed they had some mid-century inspired furniture. The new collection is called the ‘mid-century redux’ which includes a wardrobe, a dresser and a night-stand.

What I like most about this is how they use hairpin legs with very simple walnut wood. If you are living in the LA area, check them out at their only retail store: 8000 West Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90046-2422.

I may not be able to make it this year but Palm Springs has their annual week long event: Modernism Week from Feb 12nd til the 21st. It is loaded with vintage furniture, house tours, fashion shows, and a film series. This is a great opportunity to see different mid century furniture all in one place!

SUQ is an antique furniture store that is located in Sapporo city, Hokkaido in Japan. I’ve never been there, but it seems like they have amazing danish collections.

The container comes from Denmark every three month or so. I’d love to visit the store someday in the future.
