These beautiful kitchen images are photographed by Patric Johansson and styled by Anna Malmgren and Cissi Bengtsson for Plaza Interiör. The composition and colors are carefully considered in the layout.

It is hard to gather different variations of his work and to fully showcase his eye for beauty, so if you like to browse more of his interior photos, check out his works here!

Olle Eksell: Cocoa Eyes Poster

One of the best known brands in Sweden is the Mazetti Ögon logo that the Swedish graphic designer Olle Eksell designed. This poster was printed in 1999 for his exhibition at form design center in Malmö, Sweden. If you like European interior design, you’ve probably seen one of the pictures below.

The simplicity of this design is what makes it great. It can go with almost any kind of designed room. The bold eyes perfectly placed on a bare page in it’s anatomically correct position is just awesome. It’s amazing how a few strokes of lines can do so much and have soul.

The same poster is now available on my ebay page along with the Eames seat pads and Ekko mobile art. If you’d like to own this look, please check it out!

Collected by Jason Koharik

I recently stumbled upon a blog by the furniture store Lawson-Fenning and found beautiful lamps designed by artist Jason Koharik. Jason is a Los Angeles based artist who is an interior designer, electrician, contractor, carpenter, craftsman, and a collector.

“The Collected by lamp series is inspired by the beautiful sweeping lines and modeled forms of the Art Nouveau period and early French Modernists. The series represents a “New Nouveau”. Each lamp is a one of a kind sculpture made with a variety of reclaimed and recycled materials that show age and marks from its maker. Each is hand crafted and hammered in effort to create a unique and nostalgic piece that can settle comfortably in a modern environment. ”

I’ve always been attracted to these style of lamps including Serge Mouille,  Jean Prouvé and Charlotte Perriand because those classic designs still feel modern and timeless all at once.
