Danish cabinetmaker Aksel Kjersgaard‘s vintage trolley is currently my favorite furniture in my house. It’s quite a simple piece made with great craftsmanship and cabinet maker-quality construction.‘The furniture factory was founded in 1952 after many years spent working as a craftsman throughout Europe and Morocco. Production began in 1955, originally creating hall furniture and small pieces. In subsequent years, the factory began to enjoy the attention of many international clients and now exports worldwide.’
It’s a two tier teak trolley with wonderful versatile functions where you can pull out an additional laminated table space, use the drawer for storage, or simply display your collections.

Here is an example of the drawer on the other side.

The amazing Scandinavian craftsmanship still continues since the 50′s as you see in the images above. more info here

Your trolley is exquisite. It would be one of my favorite pieces too.
@ Dana: Thanks!
I love your collections and your home! It is so “me”. I also purchased one of Gainey’s large cylinder planters with the walnut stand last year from Modernica via Fab.com. I have a few that I purchased directly through Gainey and one that was an IKEA find that fits perfectly with my MCM/Danish Modern home.
I was truly sad to receive an email recently, from Gainey, that they are closing. I hope someone will buy the business and carry on the legacy.
