If your table is looking for something to brighten it up, you can do so with these small wooden friends! It’s always nice when something so cute can also be so useful. This Danish wooden blow fish looks great in your home and at the same time serves as a toothpick holder.
Another wooden product with double use is this apple bottle opener. I happened to find this one at Anthropologie this past weekend. The pears are salt and pepper shakers that I found at a flea market. They all suit my dinner table perfectly.

i was at anthropologie last weekends too!
but didn’t see the apple bottle opener,,,, : (
did you know that soemtimes (not all the time) you can get some of their decorations for free??? i saw this absolutely cute owl scultpture at pasadena store and asked one of the staff if i can buy it -
he said the owl is already reserved for this customer (she’s a teacher) but he said it’s basically free
they usually recycle/store most of the decorations but
when it comes to a small sculpture or something that they can’t use it twice( because it’s too unique that people would
remembermer) then they give awayyyyyy
i wanted the owl!!!!
Thanks for the tip Mizue! I saw a great paper craft at the Anthropologie in Santa Monica. It was a peacock made out of newspaper. It was really beautiful. I wish I asked for it, do you know who’s responsible for the in store decoration
i saw the peacock too!! that was very cute too..!
i actually wanted the peacock instead but i didn’t know how i can take it home (too big) and don’t know where i can put it in my house.. guest room? haha
so i guess every store has exactly same decoration/ornaments.. EXCEPT THOUSAND OAKS store !!!! : ( i didn’t see them there—-
as for the store decoration/ornaments, the cashier said it’s really up to the store manager – so if you find something you like, go find a store manger and start begging! lol don’t wait!!!
haha will do! we actually found this beautiful plant displayed throughout the store but none of the staff knew the name of the plant. but we recently found out that it was called the calathea. These guys have such great taste.
