Modern Ranch at Woodland Hills

wh_01

It was an exciting weekend as we continued our journey to find a mid-century home. This time, the destination, Woodland Hills. The owner did a great job restoring the house as well as keeping a lot of original parts from the era . The house was definitely cute and ready to move in. As said in our previous post, this color scheme of olive and orange was exactly what we wanted.

Huge windows allows for a lot of natural lighting and a beautiful view to the backyard.

The fireplace was well updated and restored set in a cozy space.

One thing that are hard to find in contemporary homes are windows set this high because of laws that requires them lowered for easy fire escapes.

The furniture in this home are well selected and compliment the white and concrete interior.

The garden was just the right size with a nice patio space for bbq. Overall we love this house but the area was questionable and I wish the other homes were as nice as this one.
