Wrap House by Future Studio

I found a very conceptual and semi mid-century influenced house in Hiroshima, Japan. The house is called ‘Wrap House’, and is designed by the Japanese architect company FUTURE STUDIO. Although it is not mid-century, it certainly carries the characteristics of a midcentury home including beamed ceilings, boxy design,  large windows, and lots of natural lighting.

According to the source: ‘WRAP HOUSE’ is grouping and wrapping the three elements sunlight, spacious sense and privacy to enrich the living space. The site is located in a flat residential quarter in the Southwest of Hiroshima City.

‘Three buildings is constructed from timber and clad in black galvanised steel plates.’ I wonder how much it was to construct this house.
