This enamelware mixing bowl was designed by Finnish designers Kaj Franck and Esteri Tomula during the 60′s. It is made by the famous Finland company, Arabia, Finel. I’m mostly attracted to the cute mushroom pattern and the simplicity of the bowl which feels very timeless. The outer rim of this bowl has a few tiny paint nicks showing its age. Nevertheless it’s still very presentable, I use it as a fruit basket.

BTW great blog!
I just picked up one of these from Goodwill for $3…I saw it there and knew it had to have been designed, not just produced! Thanks for the little bit of history!
